rent24 takes over established Ukrainian coworking provider Chasopys

Berlin, 18 December 2018: rent24 is taking over Chasopys, one of the most well-known coworking providers in Ukraine. The company now operates five sites in Lviv and Kiev at once. Robert Bukvic, founder and CEO of rent24 GmbH, said, ‘Chasopys has been around since 2012: Their local expertise and already established network, coupled with an international player like rent24, are the ideal foundation for our further expansion in the region. In addition, as innovation drivers, we want to bring new concepts such as coliving to Ukraine and neighbouring countries as well.’ The local team is to further expand the rent24 network in Eastern Europe.

Both parties will benefit from the acquisition: The entire Chasopys workforce will remain with the company, preserving the local expertise and market knowledge. Members of the Chasopys sites will now receive access to all rent24 locations, counting 56 on three continents by now. Alena Kalibaba, Managing Director of Chasopys: ‘We made people familiar with coworking in Ukraine and are the oldest established player in the market. The connection to rent24’s global network provides us with completely new possibilities.
