rent24: Philipp Rösler on the advisory board – Coworking provider strengthens its core business

Berlin, 17th of August 2020: Philipp Rösler, former top German politician, is now a member of the Advisory Board of rent24, one of the leading coworking providers worldwide. In his new position, Rösler advises the company in terms of strategic direction, in particular with a focus on business environment and the start-up scene. “With Philipp Rösler, we found a proven expert with an excellent network, who has shown great commitment to the business location Germany and its young founders. The medical doctor Philipp Rösler has many years of political experience and is now working as Economic manager. “The new function at rent24 as a worldwide important coworking provider gives me new impulses and numerous other opportunities to shape the future of our economy and startup scene,” explains Philipp Rösler. “Founder Robert Bukvić spreads the rent24-DNA of Berlin start-ups around the world – I find that extremely exciting. rent24 was founded 2015 by Robert Bukvić and is today with more than 70 locations one of the worldwide leading provider for coworking. Although the commercial real estate sector is currently weakened by the Corona pandemic and, in particular, office lettings have declined, the core business of rent24 has proven itself as stable. “The Corona pandemic has underlined that the issue of flexibility plays a major role in workplace design and office rental – and no longer only for start-ups or freelancers, but also for corporates. Short

rental contract terms, flexibly expandable workstations and an already existing infrastructure around the office are decisive factors. Working independent of time and place is also becoming increasingly popular,” says Bukvić. “Innovations drive us. That’s why we have been implementing various concepts since our foundation, including, for example, fitness, catering or the rental of unfurnished offices. In the course of the Corona-pandemic, we have now adapted our strategy and intend not to continue expanding in these segments, but to concentrate on our core business in the future.”
