Berlin, 16th of March 2020: The locations of the global coworking provider rent24 will remain open for the time being. Due to the worldwide coronavirus crisis, the company has taken the necessary security precautions to keep the risk of spreading the virus as low as possible. There has not yet been a registered case of corona at the rent24 locations. “We are observing the worldwide developments with the utmost attention and follow the instructions of the government as well as the recommendations of the global and local health authorities”, says Robert Bukvic, founder and CEO of rent24.
The coworking provider has instructed employees and tenants worldwide in hygienic behavior and protective measures, including a handshake ban. In addition, the company has intensified and expanded cleaning services at all locations. Events that were planned in the coworking spaces were reduced to a minimum.
In addition, rent24 has instructed all those who have the opportunity to work from home to do so. “The health and safety of our employees and members has the highest priority for us,” says Bukvic.”However, there are people who cannot do home office for private or professional reasons. Some feel threatened in their existence and are dependent on working from their office. We would like to continue to give these people access to our spaces”. From now on, tenants must maintain the prescribed safety distance from each other and avoid larger gatherings. “We are doing our best to support our community despite the critical situation in order to guide our members through the crisis in the best possible way”, says Bukvic.
