The new CUBE locations will be test labs for InsurTech startups
Berlin, September 27, 2018: The global coworking and coliving provider rent24 has jointly launched The CUBE project in collaboration with Allianz F200, the largest Allianz agency in Germany. From October, start-ups from the InsurTech and Fintech sectors will be able to test their ideas under everyday conditions at locations at Kottbusser Straße 4 and Friedrichstraße 200 in Berlin: Freelancers or start-ups can lease a workspace for three months to work alongside the insurance experts. As an entrepreneur, Robert Bukvić, founder and CEO of rent24 GmbH, knows the advantages of timely feedback: “We want to develop a rather special form of coworking here. I know from my own experience that startups often hone their ideas and unfortunately realise far too late that there is either no demand or that they have focused on the wrong aspects.”
Semih Karayüz, CEO of Allianz F200, adds: “With their ideas, the startups bring a breath of fresh air into the insurance landscape, but they also benefit from the direct contact with customers and with us as industry experts – it’s a classic win-win situation. Digitalisation is also gaining a foothold in the insurance industry, which is why we want to promote the best projects here at an early stage.” In addition to the workplaces, participants have the opportunity to put their product through its paces in three workshops and present it not only to customers, but also to members of the executive board of the insurance company. The adjacent Deli Urban Supply offers space for networking. Further CUBE locations are already being planned throughout Germany.
